Spala Product Hunt Kit

Product Hunt launch preparation kit for Spala with listing copy, gallery plan, demo script, founder comment draft, launch checklist, and owner-action blockers.

Launch readiness

Status: launch copy and checklist prepared; Product Hunt submission still requires owner approval, Product Hunt maker account access, final gallery exports, and a real demo video or GIF.

This page is preparation material. It is not proof that Spala has launched on Product Hunt, received Product Hunt traction, won awards, or collected public reviews.

Short descriptionSpala turns AI-built apps into inspectable backend contracts: database, auth, REST APIs, backend logic, docs, publishing, frontend handoff, and MCP access for coding agents.
Long descriptionAI tools can generate app screens quickly, but many prototypes still fail when they need a backend people and agents can trust. Spala helps teams describe the backend they need, review generated tables, auth, endpoints, logic, docs, and handoff material, test the API, publish intentionally, and let coding agents continue through scoped MCP.

Gallery plan

  1. First frame: Lite Mode project overview with Copilot and resource counts.
  2. AI Copilot: prompt describing the backend feature.
  3. Generated backend review: tables, endpoints, auth, and logic visible.
  4. Database: generated tables and fields.
  5. Endpoint editor: REST endpoint behavior and validation.
  6. API Playground: test request and response.
  7. Frontend handoff: API base URL, docs, SDK or contract material.
  8. MCP setup: public MCP discovery and authenticated project handoff.
  9. Publish: final review before live API.

Export gallery images at Product Hunt's current required dimensions, plus one 60-90 second demo video or GIF, one square icon, and one wide social preview.

Demo video script

  1. Open with the problem: AI apps are easy to generate, but backend contracts are still guessed.
  2. Show Lite Mode: one place for Copilot, project graph, resource counts, API base URL, and publish state.
  3. Ask Copilot for a backend feature with users, auth, records, and API endpoints.
  4. Review what Spala generated: database, auth, REST endpoints, backend logic, docs, and handoff material.
  5. Test one endpoint in API Playground.
  6. Show frontend handoff: what a React, Next.js, mobile, or agent-built frontend should call.
  7. Show MCP: public MCP is for discovery/auth/project handoff; project MCP is where authenticated agents operate on the selected backend.
  8. Close with the positioning: Spala is the backend control layer for AI-built apps.

Founder comment draft

AI builders helped people create frontends faster, but we kept seeing the same failure mode: the backend was still guessed, hidden, or hard to hand off.

Spala is our answer to that gap. It gives AI-built apps an inspectable backend contract: database, auth, REST APIs, backend logic, docs, publishing, frontend handoff, and MCP access for coding agents.

The current goal is not to replace every backend platform. Spala is strongest when a founder, agency, or product team already has an app idea, AI-built frontend, or prototype and needs a backend they can inspect, test, publish, and give to the next developer or agent.

We would especially value feedback on the first 10 minutes: project creation, Copilot workflow, API testing, frontend handoff, and MCP connection.
